This is John's wife Val with Daisy, the
hooligan Yellow Labrador, who came to live with them on December
23rd 1996 aged 6 weeks and a bit, she was born on November 7th
1996 at Quernmore just outside the historic city of Lancaster
which is the county city of Lancashire. Daisy has a high class
pedigree and is known to The Kennel Club as Russtam Yellow Rose
but, at that time her perpetual name was Daisy NO !. In case you
are wondering why Daisy,........she was born at Daisy Bank
Kennels.

This is the Shield that Daisy won at the North
West Labrador Retriever Club for making the best progress in
1997, aged 13 months. Daisy got to keep it for a year but it has
had to go back for the 1998 Christmas Party.
John and Daisy also won the Blue Rosette for
being judged second in the Best Six Legs contest. We get to keep
that for ever.
